Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Splatter, run by [OPERATOR: your full legal name or company name], [CITY], Pakistan ("Splatter", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Splatter app or splatterapp.com, you agree to them, to our Community Guidelines, and you confirm you've read our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Splatter.

1. Who can use Splatter

• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to use online services without a parent's consent where you live. If you're under 18, you must have your parent's or guardian's permission.
• You may not use Splatter if we have banned you before, or if the law where you live forbids it.
• One person, one account, unless you run a separate account for a business or brand you are allowed to represent.

2. Your account

• Give accurate details, keep your password secret and don't use it anywhere else. You're responsible for everything done from your account.
• Tell us at once at support@splatterapp.com if you think someone else has got into your account.
• Don't sell, rent or hand over your account or username, and don't pretend to be someone else.
• Usernames that impersonate others, mislead people or infringe trademarks may be taken back.

3. Your content

You own what you post. Splatter doesn't claim ownership of your photos, videos, scenes, captions, messages or other content.

The licence you give us. So that we can run Splatter, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, turn into 3D scenes and videos, resize, display and distribute your content inside Splatter and on splatterapp.com, including in share links and previews, and to show public content in promotion of Splatter, with your username. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have already shared (for example a repost or a message you sent), copies kept for a limited time in backups, and content we must keep for legal or safety reasons.

Your promises. You confirm that you have the rights needed for everything you post, including the permission of people who can be recognised in it, and that posting it doesn't break the law or these terms.

Original content, recommendations and strikes. Only post content you own or have the rights to. Each upload asks you to confirm this. Posts without that confirmation, and posts under copyright review, are shown on your profile and to your followers but are not recommended to other people. If a copyright report against your content is upheld, the content is removed and you get a strike for 12 months; with 3 active strikes you can't upload until one expires, and repeat infringers' accounts may be closed (see Copyright). Audio: Splatter only offers sounds made on Splatter. You may not upload or use copyrighted songs or audio you don't own. If you let others use your audio, you give other Splatter users permission to use it in their posts on Splatter; you can switch this off for new posts at any time.

Other people's content belongs to them. You may view and share it inside Splatter using Splatter's features. You may not download, copy, scrape, re-upload or sell it elsewhere without the owner's permission.

4. 3D scenes, scans and AI

• Scenes are built automatically. AI may fill in parts that were hidden or outside your photo. Those parts are made up, may be wrong, and must not be presented as a true record of a real place, person or event.
• Only scan places you're allowed to film, and respect people's privacy. Don't scan inside someone's home, a private office or any place where people expect privacy without permission.
• Don't use Splatter to make misleading images of real people, such as fake scenes of a person doing or saying something they didn't.
• There is a daily limit on how many scenes each account can build. We may change it at any time.

5. Rules of use

Follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not:

• post anything illegal, sexual content, content that sexualises or endangers children, hate, harassment, threats, violence, or anything else banned by the guidelines;
• spam, run bots or fake accounts, or buy or sell likes, follows or accounts;
• try to get into accounts, data or systems you aren't allowed to, test our security without permission, or get around blocks, bans, limits or privacy settings;
• scrape, crawl or collect data from Splatter by automated means, or copy its features, design or code;
• overload, interfere with or reverse engineer Splatter, or upload viruses or harmful code;
• use Splatter to stalk anyone or find out where someone lives.

That includes content that attacks or insults a religion or is otherwise blasphemous, obscene content, content that calls for violence or supports terrorism or banned organisations, and content that puts a child at risk. We remove unlawful content when we find it or it is reported, and cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities in Pakistan. Urgent legal or content-removal requests: legal@splatterapp.com.

Zero tolerance. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Anyone can report a post, comment or account, and block anyone. We review reports and act on them, normally within 24 hours.

6. What we can do

• Remove or hide content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, or that put people or Splatter at risk. We may do this without warning when the harm is serious.
• Report illegal content and share information with authorities when the law requires it or someone is in danger.
• Change, add or remove features, or stop offering Splatter, with reasonable notice where we can.

If you think we got a decision wrong, write to support@splatterapp.com and we'll look again.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app (see how). We may end your account as described above. Sections 3 (the parts that survive), 8, 9, 10 and 11 still apply after your account ends.

8. Splatter is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep Splatter running, safe and working well, but we provide it as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, that scenes will be accurate, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important. We're not responsible for what other people post or do.

9. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Splatter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or reputation, arising from your use of Splatter. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country.

10. Your responsibility to us

If someone makes a claim against Splatter because of content you posted or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to solve the problem. Disputes will be heard by the courts of [CITY], Pakistan, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

12. Apple

If you got Splatter from the App Store: these terms are between you and Splatter, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Splatter or its content, has no duty to provide support or maintenance, and isn't responsible for any claims about it (including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims). If Splatter fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you're not in a country under a U.S. government embargo or on a U.S. list of prohibited parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Splatter after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.

14. Other things

If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part straight away, we haven't given up the right to do so later. You may not transfer these terms to anyone; we may transfer them to a company that takes over Splatter.
